BSCA had a lot of fun interacting with Bellevue residents at the 4th of July celebration at Downtown Park! Thank you to all the volunteers and visitors!

Today we said goodbye to our Yao, Japan exchange students! Daryl and Evan will be in Yao, Japan for the next three weeks! When they return they will bring our Japanese exchange students with them! Our other exchange student, Maddy, is in Czech Republic right now!

BSCA had a successful booth at Japan Fair 2019! Thank you to our volunteers and all those who came to see us at our booth! We are a non-profit organization so any and all support is VERY much appreciated! This was a tremendous way to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Yao and Bellevue becoming Sister Cities! 1969 -2019!

Evan Pappas wrote an outstanding article in the Bellevue Reporter about the BSCA and the 50th anniversary of Yao, Japan as a Sister City!

BSCA was featured on the City of Bellevue’s intranet! Bellevue,WA and Yao, Japan celebrate 50 years of being sister cities this year! 1969-2019! There will be a delegation from Yao, Japan visiting Bellevue on November 6-8, 2019 to celebrate the anniversary!

Crossroads Park in Bellevue recently finished a remodeling which included adding four, brand new sister city panels in the park! These panels are immediately eye catching and should help raise awareness about sister cities and the Bellevue Sister Cities Association!
